Rated 4 out of 5 by from Really nice solid swing - FULL ASSEMBLY required ! It really is beautiful but I was a bit surprised that I had to completely assemble it at home. The end result is very nice. We treated it first with Linseed oil and then assembled it about a week later. We used glue as suggested and all the hardware needed was included. I would have rated it 5 if the instructions were a bit clearer and if the website had very clearly communicated this involved FULL ASSEMBLY.

The instruction manual was not specific enough to prevent a few mistakes for part locations, which required a little re-doing. but now it is hanging and in use. Nice!

I bought the cape cod porch swing CPS SKU 1000830204 this fall as a gift and now want to gift a seat cushion for it. The item description says seat is 59 in. assembled width but all the available cushions seem to be only 45 in. Is ad measurement accurate?

Hello, 59” is the overall width of the porch swing. If you deduct the width allowed for arm rests, the actual sitting area is closer to 48” so the 45” cushion is appropriate.

My husband screwed eye hooks through the soffit into the rafters of the veranda roof. We are enjoying our swing I hope you will as well.

What is the weight capacity of this swing?

The limit is determined by the chain which is rated at 600 lbs. With two chains supporting the swing, theoretically it will hold 1200 lbs - realistically 800 lbs is the limit that we recommend.
