Rated 5 out of 5 by from Concrobium i noticed mold forming on the ceiling in the bathroom above the walk in shower . It would disappear when I had a shower and then come back when the ceiling dried . I never had a problem with mold , until now . So I searched on line for a solution for this problem , and I found Concrobium . First I would suggest to anyone thinking of using this product to visit the Concrobium site as they have a very comprehensive Q and A section . On the site you get clear instructions on how to use this product successfully. I followed the instructions given and had great success with Concrobium . It's over three weeks since I used the product and so far the ceiling is mold free . It was very easy to use . Once again I would stress the importance of proper procedure and proper use ,this may be why some people are disappointed with the product .

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awsome stuff Had problems with wetness around my windows and it was causing mold to grow, after years of using bleach we found this stuff and said wow lets try it.. and the only thing i can say is Awsome.. holy smokes it took away the mold and it hasn't returned and that was about 3 months ago.. same with tile in the shower .. i love it and it don't stink like bleach or other harsh products .. i highly recomend..

Bought this product to remove stained/blackened silicone in my glass shower enclosure. Spayed and let dry as directed without success. Is this product meant for this use? Was recommended by sales support at the store.

The Mould Control is not the product that will remove mould stains. It will remove mould but for the stains, you need to use Duo Blast. It is the product to use for removing stains.

Does this work on a wooden ceiling where mold is formed due to leakage?

Hi Steve, Our Mold Control will be effective on a wooden ceiling where mold has formed. You may need to remove building materials to treat any areas behind as the product will not penetrate a solid barrier. Always fix the root cause of the mold issue, such as the previous leak, or this will be an ongoing issue. As well, you may need to use a cosmetic cleaner afterwards to remove any stubborn mold staining and always test on a small area first.

Will this work on the rubber gasket in a front loading washer?

Hi, Great question! Concrobium Mold Control is effective on rubber like the gasket in a front loading washer. Just keep in mind, it needs to be applied to a dry surface and the surface needs to dry completely after application in order to kill any mold or odors. Once dry, you can use a Concrobium Mold Control-dampened cloth to wipe the surface clean. For any remaining stubborn stains, you can follow up with our Concrobium Duo Blast. Once stains have been removed, reapply Concrobium Mold Control to prevent further odors or growth. Reapplication may be required for areas that are frequently exposed to water/moisture. And remember, we always recommend testing on an inconspicuous area first.

Will MoldControl affect adhesion of stain on weathered cedar?

MoldControl was applied to weathered cedar and left over night. Stain was applied the next day. Three days later rain washed the stain off where the MoldControl had been applied. What is the cause and solution to this problem?

It is essential to know what kind of stain was used. However Concrobium Mold Control does not adhere well to oil-based paints and stains. I recommend using latex based paints and stains. If you are using oil-based paint or stain, you should use a latex-based primer first. I hope this answers your question.

Hi newbiediyer, The good news is our Concrobium Mold Control can be used on vinyl siding. However, we do not recommend applying it with a pressure washer as the product is ready-to-use and is not to be diluted. We recommend a pump sprayer to cover larger, hard to reach areas.

Can this product be used on outdoor stucco without harming the finish?

I have a problem with mold on the walls of our basement walkout, window sills, door trim etc. and previously used vinegar, but the mold comes back.
