The Makita Plunge Base Set is an ideal accessory for use with Makita Compact Router models RT001GZ01, RT0701, DRT50ZX4, DRT50ZJX6, DRT50T1JX4 (sold seperately). The Plunge Base features a plunge capacity range of 0-inch to 1-3/8-inch for easy penetration into the work piece. The fine depth adjustment has 3 preset depth stops for added precision. For added versatility, the Makita Plunge Base accepts industry standard template guides.

This innovative, anodized-aluminum fence features a table saw-style T-square adjustment system that ensures the fence will always stay parallel to the miter-gauge slot. The fence adjusts easily with just one hand, and locks firmly in place with dual locks: A large paddle lock on the infeed end, and a quarter-turn lock on the outfeed end that prevents fence deflection. Independent sliding fence faces can be positioned exactly where needed to provide workpiece support close to the bit, and to maximize chip collection into the fences built-in dust port.
