Positives: Looks great, easy to clean, strong flush, comfortable seat Negatives: Because the water doesn't sit too high in the bowl, #2's can stick. Took me a few flushes to get rid of the remnants.. The strong flush might be too strong. The toilet is pretty loud because of that. Also keep getting a loud banging nose after each flood. Like the flap slams shut. Not what I would expect from a $500+ Kohler. Look better than the cheap builder toilet it replaces but it's also louder which is baffling to me. Overall disappointed with the quality of this toilet. My original plan was to replace all 4 of my toilets with these but that will not be happening now.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great Toilet....but... This toilet is a five star product, but a 3 star installing process. First, the tank does NOT have to be affixed to the base before lifting into place. The added weight of the tank means a 2 person lift onto the mounting flange. Install and attach the base, THEN place the tank onto the base. Much easier for a single person installation. Second, the sealing washers to affix tank to the base are too loose around the bolts and therefore leak! I purchased Moen 2 pack replacement washers (Model: #M5893) which fit snugly against the bolts. No more leaks! Aside from these two issues, the toilet is awesome!

I loved the toilet's looks and the fact that it had a smooth body, making it easier to keep clean. It is certainly an attractive toilet, as toilets go. However, it has been a nightmare, with sewage backing up and leaking out. It appears that the problem is the trapway, which is plastic. The seal there can apparently be broken in a variety of ways and you won't know it until the sewage backs up and floods your bathroom. Maybe this is why Kohler discontinued this model and its replacement parts...

It took two of us to install--it is much heavier than the old two-piece I removed solo--but I was really surprised at how easy it was to install. It looks great, works great. Some thoughts on my install: there's a black plastic thing that mounts to flange. That's easier to handle in my opinion that standard toilets, but it required two tricks. First, I cut my tile to match the flange, but the plastic mount was longer in the back. That meant it wouldn't mount without cutting the tile. Or... trick one: use one of the $15 installation kits (e.g. NEXT by Danco All-In-One Toilet Installation Kit). That raised the mount just enough that I didn't need to cut the tiles. Second, it was a bit tricky to get the toilet onto the plastic mount because you can't see it. Trick two: set your phones camera to use the flash, slide your phone back and take a picture.

I would give this 4 stars, because Kohler shipped the toilet with out one of the two main 4 inch long fastening screws. This stopped my contractors from moving forward on my dime. This was on a Friday, so i called Kohler to get a screw shipped asap. The woman I talked wasn't very helpful and said she couldn't ship a screw for at least 28 days. I politely asked her if she could do better and she got a little testy saying "well, what do u want me to do? I told u I could ship the part in 28 days." After explaining that I'm paying for the delay and asking for another more expedient solution, she put me on the phone with some one higher up. The second woman was much more pleasant and understanding and said she would try to overnight the part to arrive by monday, which it did. Bravo to her! This screw is very specialized in length and has a ball at one end, so I could not get one at home depot. The toilet is very sleek and looks like it belongs on the Starship Enterprise from Star Trek.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Multiple flushes needed, or a scrub brush I bought this a couple months ago for a new bathroom reno...big mistake. First the plumber had to get new lines in the floor because it is not standard size. Ok, after that, using it is a pain. Looks great but you have to either flush twice and when that doesn't work, I have use the brush to get rid of skid marks. The low water is not a savings at all due to multiple flushes. We tried to adjust the water in the bowl but it sits way to low and droppings stick. I like the sleek look of this toilet, but not the function. I have an American Standard in the main bathroom and have no issues with skid marks. Save your money and buy something that doesn't leave you with a reminder of what just happened in the bathroom.

The canister has a dual flushing function, either grey or blue. It states the blue should be installed on the right side. However, what side (colour) is for 1 GPF and what side is for 1.6 GPF?

Blue on the right matches with the smaller push button on the top of the tank. The smaller button correlates to the 1.0 GPF.

Can you install bidet toilet attachment ( not the bidet seat just bidet attachment)?

I have the toilet and I looked at it to answer your question. The attachment will fit under the seat the o key issue I’m seeing is the connection you need. This connection to the toilet comes from the side of the toilet and is a standard 3/8 compression fitting. Since the bidet attachment comes with a 3 way tee (One side supply water other 2 sides to send water to toilet tank and other to send water to bidet)you would have to get some adapters from Home Depot so it would work. If I were you I would talk to them in the plumbing department and tell them exactly what you’re doing with the toilet. Tell them it’s a 3/8 compression fitting and what connections could you use to make this possible. Probable a male to male adapter would work.
