Rated 4 out of 5 by from Pleased with purchase Order arrived in less than the estimated delivery date. Used driver to replace fence pickets. Very happy with the driver's power and impact action which was much easier than using a hammer and nails to securely fasten the replacement pickets. Attaching the new pickets took less time than levering off the old pickets and removing the rusty nails. The battery was down to 1 bar after inserting approximately 150 2" inch screws. Recharge was complete in the time I needed to take a work break and remove old pickets from the next section. The only downside comment I have was when working with a 1/2 " driver bit (too short maybe), grease started to ooze from the front of the locking mechanism when the screw was driven flush into the wood. This oozing stopped when I used a longer drill bit.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Great tool, but... I bought this for my dad who, nearing retirement, is in the process of building a lake home. The first project that we used this impact driver on was to install an aluminum railing system on a newly constructed deck. The system called for driving 5 inch lag bolts into grooves formed in the bottom of the extruded aluminum posts. It worked great and saved a LOT of strain on his upper body but he mentioned that the battery didn't seem to hold a charge very long (the batteries do charge pretty quickly though). While my dad was using his new Milwaukee, I was using my new Ridgid gen5x brushed 3 speed impact driver with the same mAh battery which lasted all day on one charge while the Milwaukee had to be charged twice. I also like the 3 speed feature of the Ridgid over the single speed of the Milwauke. They seem to have nearly the same driving power, but if had to guess, I'd say that the Milwaukee is more durable. I'm just not that impressed with the battery life. Yes, you can purchase a 3 or 4 mAh battery which will last longer, but unless you're a professional who uses the tool every day, why spend the extra money when Ridgid's impact driver is just as powerful, has more features, seems to be easier on batteries and costs less.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Feel the power After having an 18v from another lower grade manufacture for a few years, I can definitely feel the difference in over all quality. Small compact size and ergonomic, gets me in tight spaces I could not reach with my last driver. I am a professional appliance tech. , I use this on bigger repair jobs when removing/tightening large fasteners I.e. Bolts, nuts, longer screws, and for install applications where my m12-drill/driver would die quickly. Great addition to the arsenal...

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This is a deal you can't beat I'm a Union Carpenter and we have these on the job site. I saw this kit in the store and seriously couldn't get it to the cashier fast enough. I couldn't believe that this kit included the drill, battery, and charger for ONLY $99!!!!! I almost felt like I was getting away with robbery. Milwaukee is a high quality provider of tools, this impact is everything you are looking for. I use it almost daily in my shop at home, it never fails me. It will power through anything in its path. the only drawback that I see is that the kit includes the smaller version of the battery. Which isn't really a big issue, it'll just run out of juice a little more quickly. I also bought one of the larger batteries and keep them on rotation on a busy day in the shop.
