Rated 4 out of 5 by from Sika pro 125 leveling cement The instructions say 3.9 - 4.1 liters of water. That made the cement too stiff and not like the videos. We added 5.75 liters of water and found that it was like the videos. It flowed & leveled amazing.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Sets very fast, modify instructions I used this to level a new bathroom floor in basement (with over a 1" cross-level). First try with 2 bags was very frustrating. I was not happy with the experience as the product set very fast. I wasn't happy with the job, and the 2 bags didn't sufficiently cover the area, so I tried a few days later again with a 3rd, with much better success. Here's what I learned: 1) Use cold water (not 21C per package). Let the tap run until the water is cold (drinking temperature). 2) Use 4.1 L at least (not the 3.9 - 4.1 package range - I used 4.0 on my first two bags) 3) Add the product to the water approximately in thirds or quarters and mix each time. Don't try to add gradually while mixing (I did that the first time and I think it extended the mix time too much) 4) Don't overmix (like the package warns). Mix only long enough to make sure all the powder is mixed in and you have a nice consistent slurry. 5) Don't "wait a few minutes for the bubbles to dissipate" as the package indicates. I did this the first time and it consumed too much of the already short working time. Beyond these instructions, my other observations are that it does not "feather out" at the edges very well, and can't really be worked or trowelled. If really does need to be treated like water and just poured in and allowed to self level without disturbance (within reason - it will flow a few inches, but you want to pour it gradually so the volume matches what is needed on the area). It would appear to be a poor choice if you are trying to fill some localized low spots and want to taper the product out to blend into the surrounding floor. From my experience, I think this product will work best if you are pouring a complete floor covering, bordered by walls (or temporary dams) at all the edges. You may find it beneficial to use a level and mark the target heights on the surrounding walls to provide some guidance in terms of how deep to pour it. I worked from the low point on the floor to the high point (thickest area to thinnest) which I think is the correct method.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great stuff! Really good self leveling compound with very comfortable setting time - not too fast so you can always catch and fix any issues what was greatly appreciated on my DIY project. First time using a self level floor mixture, I was afraid I'd mess up with it, but the product is absolutely amazing and seems to fix itself all my mistakes.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Worked like a charm Worked great. Like other reviewers have said, use more water than recommended. I went with 5 litres. The original floor was really bad, up to 4" out of level so I started with regular concrete, got it very close to level, then used the self leveler as a topper. Mix thoroughly, be exact with your measurements, work quickly, and squeegee or trowel between pours. You can't go wrong.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from READ before you buy Sika pro 125 Hope you read this review!!! This product does NOT self level, is NOT easy to use and NOT hi-flow! Do yourself a favor and disregard all the perfect project videos online by charming slimy actors including M H who don't represent the real behavior and characteristics of this product and search up self leveler gone wrong videos as well. It will be very educational on what not to do. This product requires a lot of skill, speed and experience to even have a chance to apply successfully! Yes you will need more water than instructions, you will better have everything planned out and ready, seriously everything! And even than this product will need to be leveled and persuaded to form a level finish or something close to it. I didn't try the other products yet, I simply trusted Sika as a well known name to work as proclaimed. I had to rent a Hilti concrete grinder to finish what I started. It took me 2 days to correct what this product caused.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent Produit Excellent résultat, donne une surface lisse. S'étends très facilement. Mais définitivement utiliser 5,5 litres d'eau par sac pour une utilisation tel que les vidéos et permettant un meilleur écoulement mince.

I have one bag I bought it before 18 month ago. I store it in my garage inside a nylon bag, my project delayed because of covid-19. Does the Sika level have expiry date? can I use it now? Please let me know what to do?

Asked by: Philip
Thank you for your inquiry. Sika level will perform to specifications outlined on the product data sheet for a period of one year from the date of manufacture on the bag. The date on the bag is typically on the side but can also be on the front or back depending on at which facility it was manufactured. However , as you have indicated your bag of Sika Level 125 was purchased more than 18 months ago, it is recommended that this bag be disposed of, and a new bag of product used for you project.

I need to level my basement floor which at deepest will be about 1-1/2". Afterwards I'm installing a dricor subfloor overtop. I heard I cannot drill and cement screw into the levelled floor after? Can I apply an adhesive for the dricor?

Asked by: David
Dricor typically is a floating floor system with no fasteners/adhesives used

Can I use this for the garage floor?

Asked by: John
We do not recommend using it as a finishing product, it should be covered . Ideally for garages we do not recommend products like levelers in mind that we must respect a slope towards the central drain . If, however, the customer still wants to level it, he could use the sika level 25.

Can this product be used to refinish a countertop? I've been trying to find a product that would be similar to the Henry brand feather finish. Do you have any recommendations?

Can I use this product to covers cracks of my garage floor??

Asked by: Mani
I would use a crack filler first and then use a coat of self-leveling product to either coat the floor completely or a skim coat to feather it out, but be sure to use a good bonding agent first!
