Rated 1 out of 5 by from Don't let it get wet!!! I received this for a birthday gift from my wife and at first was very happy with it. Over the weekend I used it for a low and slow cook of a few hours during which it rained. I thought no biggie, this is made to be mounted to a BBQ, 20mis of rain won't hurt it. WRONG! Went dead, then made a buzzing noise. Email Weber support, they say not covered under warranty, and here is a link to a FAQ site where we tell you not to get it wet. Thanks! Not saying it should withstand being dunked in a bucket of water, but considering the price, it should be able to withstand the amount of water it would be exposed to when sitting on the BBQ in the rain. Buyer beware!!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great BBQ Tool! I have had the iGrill 2 for over 2 years and works great with iPhone and iPad Pro. App works as it should and not missing any features. Range is decent and works indoors well too. We BBQ year round with colder winters so we don't stay outside to grill. Great for summertime too with individual temps for each probe, and critical reminders when you're entertaining and forget the steaks while sharing a laugh! You can use the presets or set your own, if you like to take off the grill a little sooner and let meat rest longer. We also use for the oven for roasts and turkey. Recently bought a Genesis II and picked up the iGrill 3. Reasonably priced, reasonable quality with 2 years + use so far.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Does what it's supposed to do...except... You cannot "end" the app on your phone. The notification for the app stays after you end the cook. That's mildly annoying. What is VERY annoying is the "almost done" notifications. When it gets within 10 degrees of your target temp, it beeps annoyingly and pops up an "almost ready" reminder. But guess what? When you are cooking something low and slow, it bounces off that temperature many, many times when cooking. And it beeps EVERY F&%$ING time! Other than that, it works well and the temps seem to be spot on.

Dimanche, c'était n'importe quoi !!! La température indiqué sur le boîtier et sur l'application n'était pas la même. Jai donc pris un autre petit thermomètre pour vérifier ma cuisson interne, elle était différente de celle donné par mon outil weber!!!!! Vraiment, je trouve inconcevable qu'un produit de votre notoriété soit finalement qu' un gadget qui " bogue " !!!!!! Je suis très déçu.

The other 2 probe channels keep alerting to overtemperature about every 30 seconds Makes it useless for the other 2 channels because it is alway going off

Rated 2 out of 5 by from I grill 2 is so close I love everything about this product with the exception of the lousy Bluetooth reception. I actually returned/exchanged it for another but the constant dropping of the Bluetooth signal was rampant on the second one as well. I gave it 2 stars since I can (with a lot of frustrating effort) manage to reset it and get accurate temps without having to open my Kamado Joe but I have to say I would not recommend buying this version. Hopefully Weber can fix the Bluetooth issue in the next model.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Major connectivity issues I was very excited to get my iGrill 2. First time I used it, connected great to my Galaxy S9 and I cooked a chicken on the BBQ. Probes were 20 degrees off which seemed a bit strange. The next time I went to use the thermometer it would NOT connect to my phone again. I spent 10 minutes in absolute frustration before I rebooted my phone, removed the device from my bluetooth devices, and finally I could re-add it as a device. The 3rd time I went to use it the same nonesense happened and I can't get the thermometer to reconnect to my phone again. I am absolutely done with this product. The connectivity issues are unacceptable and make using this thing incredibly frustrating. Weber, I appreciate your high quality grills, but your accessories need major improvement. Why are they so sub-par?? I will no longer buy your accessories and just stick to your grills.

The proposed "works with any grill" makes it seem like a great option but it is not. Warranty attempts due to the lack of a receipt (gift) mean there apparently is no warranty. The probes will at least work with my iGrill 3 though. So thanks for the really expensive extra probe.
