This Imperial 5/8-in x 7-ft fiberglass gasket tape kit is an exceptional choice for replacing worn-out or old gaskets around the glass window in your wood stove door. For use with wood-burning airtight stoves and fireplace inserts, and coal or pellet stoves, the fiberglass gasket helps prevent leaks and improve heating efficiency. It has a flat, braided design for improved durability and strength, and the tape gasket is capable of withstanding maximum temperatures up to 1000 °F. The gasket is easy to install and secure in the channel of the door around the glass using the included gasket adhesive. For best results, close the door and let it stand for 12 hours before creating a low fire, then gradually increase heat to permanently cure the adhesive. Gasket and adhesive are included.
