DFR551ZX1 features an electronically controlled brushless motor that delivers 0-6,000 RPM and efficiently uses energy to match torque and RPM to handle a variety of drywall, decking and framing applications. Uses Push Drive Technology that allows the tool to remain in lock-on mode and have the motor start only when the fastener engages, resulting in longer runtime and less noise. A durable compact fastener guide prevents screw strip tangling and it accepts a range of fasteners (1 to 2-3/16). The DFR551ZX1 is compatible with Makita 18V LXT Lithium-Ion batteries, from the fast-charging 18V LXT compact 2.0Ah battery to full-size 18V LXT batteries for longer run time

Brushless DC motor generates less heat buildup and is ideal for prolonged use in manufacturing / production applications

eXtreme Protection Technology (XPT) offers maximum protection against dust, debris and liquids for optimal performance in extreme conditions
