Rated 1 out of 5 by from Very poor design that barely does the job What the product does: 1) When you push the button, the socket will usually toggle on/off. If power is lost, the light will revert to the OFF state, power loss of a few seconds is tolerated well (with light staying on or off) so that is good and is really the only thing well designed on the product. 2) The three channels work, A, B and C. The circuit board has a blob of solder on it to select the channel so if you are handy you can change the channel. 3) The two product versions (one is for a plug and one is for a light socket) are interchangeable, they can control each other. What the product does NOT do: 1) The toggle switch which is labled with an on position is actually just decorative. It doesn't matter which way you push the switch (up or down) the light will respond by changing states. There is no on or off direction per se (see number two to understand why this matters). 2) The switches are meant to be able to control multiple lights - do NOT buy the product if you want to do that. As previously stated, most of the time when you push the button the ligth will toggle, but not always. If you have two lights, then they get out of sync, so now you have one light on and one light off. Since there is no defined ON or OFF button (despite the labeling on the switch plate) this means the only way to re-synchronize the two lights is to physically remove power from the product. This renders the product pretty much useless in most use scenarios, and it is disapointing because it would have been so easy to avoid in the design. 3) The product does not use a normal battery. Most wireless trnasmitters use common coin cell batteries. But this one uses an expensive 12 volt cylindrical lithium battery.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from 100 ft ???? maybe 10 ft if no obstructions I bought 2, A and B channel codes. The batteries supplied were dead. I replaced with new Eveready batteries. The units work for about 10 ft with no obstructions. They don't transmit around conners in a condo with concrete walls. Unfortunately I live in Panama and had to garbage!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Don't waste your money! This product is made of cheap plastic and is poorly constructed. The product's stated range is 30 meters, but I could not even get 2 meters out of this with a clear, unobstructed line of sight. The function of the ON/OFF button is interchangeable. If you press the OFF button, the lights turn on. If you press any button again, the light turns off. Not sure how this entire line of product passed the manufacturer's QA/QC line. Definitely not worth the $30.
