Rated 4 out of 5 by from Awesome bbq, lacking a few minor items I purchased this a month ago and so far pretty good. Bbq is nice and big and the 4 burners allow for greater heat zones. The griddle works very well, but like a few have mentioned, seems to have warped slightly (1-2mm). But it doesnt really affect functionality. My only complaint is two minor items: 1) no place to hang bbq utensils/etc, 2) the lower storage seems to collect moisture (under a bbq cover) and has no drain, so i fear it will eventually rust out. Positives: You can use a 35lb tank off to the side (not underneath), customer support is amazing (was missing 1 small piece, and i got it in 2 days). Caution: when installing the heat tray under the main bbq, make sure its fully seated, or the front door springs will melt out of its plastic holder and will need to be replaced (kind of dumb design, but i get why)

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fantastic and versatile, highly recommend! I’ve had this for over a month now and have been impressed every time I use it! I must say, I was a little hesitant as the price is so low for what your get (compared to Weber, Napoleon) but it has not disappointed. BBQ itself is great, gets hot enough for any cooking application. The Pizza Oven out of this world, can cook pizzas in 4 mins at 600 degrees. And the flat top is perfect for smash burgers and bacon. Would buy this BBQ 10X over. Has a nice built it look to it as well!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome BBQ - Great Price Shipping Box - Someone played lego as a kid. Everything that could be inside something else was. Everything else was either foam wrapped or cardboard wrapped. -you will be amazed by how much packaging you have left. The box is packed so tight and so well that nothing can move inside the box until you start unpacking it. Documentation - one of the best manuals. Easy to follow, great care instructions, they even walk through seasoning the grill and just happen to mention that the first time you clean the griddle is the only time you should use soap and water to remove the shipping protective oil (soy oil). Assembly - you can do 90% of it yourself, but should get help to put the grill box on the frame. - all the screws were in a bubble pack which made it easy to find what you needed. - the actual frame parts were not labelled - but, the assembly manual showed really good illustrations of the parts, and no two parts are the same - except the doors, side shelves and regulator knobs. - Assembly took about two hours to do solo - Aside from what screws to use, you could likely assemble this without the manual. Quality of construction - The unit is surprisingly well designed. The welds, where they exist seem to be fairly well done - The BBQ weighs over 150lb, so very solid (shipping weight 175) - the doors and other parts all line up nicely. The BBQ definitely has nice sight lines. - BBQ grill plates are cheaper and lighter in material, but still cast iron. Not the end of the world, they heat up fast and left great grill marks on my steak. You can always swap out the grill plates - they are standard size - Burners - swappable, replaceable burners! The burners are held in with sheer pins and a hook. That's it. You can remove the burners to clean them or replace them if they get damaged. My last BBQ had them welded in place, which means I had to smash out rusted burners and install new ones. -Drip tray access - easy peasy from the front or back. -expandability - not that I know the manufacturers plan, but it looks like things were built with future accessories in mind. The firebox is open to below, protected by a drop tray, possible use as a charcoal or wood burn option. - propane access - one complaint online was "how hard it is to get to the propane tank", which is isn't true. You have more than enough room to get the tank out from the back or side. The shelf literally lifts off it's hinge if you go from the side, which makes accessing the tank a breeze. -storage - and, lack of. The main cabinet is purpose built to hold the pizza box and griddle. There is a bit of storage for BBQ tools, but not a mindblowing amount. The grill also doesn't have any hooks to hang tongs or other tools from while grilling, but has a lot of surface space. -Griddle - the griddle is thick and has a drip hole to scrape crap in to. It reminds me of commercial griddles I used in a restaurant. My griddle doesn't sit fully flush with the frame. One of the three legs is off the ground and it has a slight wobble - though, I'm not sure if this is the grill, my construction of it, or my driveway - I have a sloped construction driveway and garage, so right now no flat surface to put it on. Cooking - it heats up very fast, both the griddle and grill. 10-15 minutes tops. - insulated lid - the lid looks insulated, or at least double layered - wind can cause issues. The other day when it was insanely windy I tried griddling veggies while cooking steak. The grill stayed lit properly, but the griddle didn't. It's firebox is shallower so it's more susceptible to strong winds. Definitely not a deal breaker, most grills have some sort of wind tolerance issues, and given the uniqueness of this unit, I can give it a pass. My solution was to move it back in to the garage a bit to stop the wind from impacting the flames (all doors open, of course - yes, I know dangerous) It has the ability for a rotisserie to be setup as well. One complaint online was about the temperature probes, so I ran some tests to see. Temperature Control - I did a couple of tests using an electronic probe thermometer at 15 minute intervals I controlled for wind by running it in my garage with all doors open to allow smoke and heat to leave, but keep the wind from impacting the tests The probe I used is a Master Chef wireless meat probe, the kind you stick in the food for internal temperature monitoring --Right end burner on high and thermometer on the opposite side at grill level. Grill Temp: 225-250F, Probe Temp: 171 and climbing still --Right end burner on high and thermometer on the warming shelf in the middle. Grill Temp: 250F, Probe Temp: 302F --Right end burner on high and thermometer directly over heat. Grill Temp: 250F, Probe Temp 457F --all burners on high and thermometer directly over heat in middle of grill. Grill Temp: 525F, Probe Temp 540F So, yes. Probe temperature is a problem based on these tests, the built in probe isn't overly accurate especially at lower temperatures. But, it's easy to swap out if you care, or just use your probe to measure internal temperature :-) I also decided to see how hot the pizza box gets at full heat, but my probe tops out at 572, and the pizza box got much hotter. So, good sign I guess :-) Overall, so far highly recommended. I'll post some action shots and food results next time I use it to show the quality of the cook.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great unit Great unit, it is big though. But the plate is nice, you have to seasoned it, it’s cast iron, the pizza oven it fantastic but the gauge is so so. Need a separate thermometer to be sure of the temps inside the cooker. I would recommend, it is really well made

Rated 4 out of 5 by from So far love it will see how it hold up in the wint Had this for a few months love it. Would love to get a cast iron griddle but not sure how weather would affect it. So far this thing is great gunna try the pizza oven soon with there was more storage maybe a small half door where the propane tank goes to put my BBQ tools cause I find that the freeze tray leaks on stuff underneath on the one side which is the only con so far other that no natural gas (don’t have yet as still looking for the right house to buy anyway) Oh and finding a BBQ cover. Prolly gunna get magnets to hold my bbq utensils.

Anyone have trouble with the big orange stickers on the bbq top and pizza oven. We have been peeling one for an hour...tried heat, goo be gone, WD 40. It's crazy! And both are the same.

Asked by: Kat1
Had the same issue with mine re: stickers - took 4+ hours (sadly I'm not exaggerrating) to remove the giant stickers on the pizza oven and the lid - the stickers are actually THREE pieces of vinyl stacked on top of each other and I had to peel off each in succession. I needed 3 razor blades, a hair dryer, wd 40 and goof-off and a decent set of leather gloves to not burn my hands to get everything off and how it should look. Bakerstone - these stickers are enough to sour anyone's impressions of your company. Get rid of those f&*$%ing stickers NOW

What kind of BBQ cover did y'all buy to fit this beast? We tried a regular one that was 62" but it doesn't quite sit right because of the tapering at the top. We don't want the shelves open when we have it covered and we get crazy winds.

Asked by: janders
Hi...so we had a hard time finding a cover for this thing! We looked everywhere and had zero luck so we settled on a generic cover that is too big and we ended up using bungee cords to tighten it up around the bottom. Its not pretty but has been working. The Company should make a cover that goes with this unit and comes with it, in my opinion,as it is an odd size. However,I love this "beast" as it does alot of jobs for what it cost.Hope you can find a good soloution.
