Has to go to store 4 times just to purchase, when each time it was “supposedly” available. Some excuses given were that even though it shows in stock, it could mean its onsite, but no unpacked yet, which could take up to a week. For 2 of my visits, I actually called to ensure I could get it, but still did not work. Finally broke down and ordered online to await a call when it was ready to pick up curb side. When I did go to pick up, it was there, but took 30 minute wait, when there were no others ahead of me. Good light though, just too bad the service was so poor!!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Works great, till it gets warm. The light is great for small areas, under the hood, etc. The light is bright enough for the job you are doing. However.... There is 1 major flaw. If the light is on continuous for moderate-long period of time (I'd say 40 minutes +) then the light will start to blink.... and continue to blink non stop till it cools down. At first you think the battery is low... but this is not the case. Batteries still fully charged. I own many DeWalt tools.... this is the first one to let me down.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Bright, but now blinks after it heats up I loved this product, but found after it's on for just a few minutes, the device will blink off for a second, then turn on for about 10 seconds and continue to repeat. I think the light is getting too hot. If I turn off to let it cool down a few minutes, it will stay on solid until it heats up again. Not useful for a dark space when this continue to happen! And YES, the battery is charged!

My first though was why did I wait so long. This may had been my best purchase every. I love the many uses of this great product. I used this to hang siding at 2 am. I love that the angle of the light has many adjustments and can sit on just about anything to give you the correct light angle. This is a must for a home owner trying knock off electrical work at night. This sits at any angle and shines light right where you need it to complete your task. Great product. The only negative I could give is the battery life could be longer but it last a while anyway.

I used the unit twice and the bulbs started to flicker on then unit went dark. Unit was in a hard cover case for three years and did not last more than a few hours of use. I am a homeowner who use of all three tools are minimal, but this one was close to DOA. I would not recommend, plus lumens was poor during use.

It is a more focused beam than I would prefer. It works OK. At $49.00 it's pricey. I assume it will last a while. Never got low on battery power. Kind of heavy. I've since seen some hand handheld LEDs on Amazon with a more dispersed pattern that run on AAA batteries for around $10.00. Might look into those. Of course they're not rechargeable. It would be nice if DeWalt made a small light with a wider array that could use the lithium batteries.

Most lights won't penetrate the darkness of night but this will. I was apprehensive about the lumen rating when I bought it but if you want a light that definitely will light up the night then get this light! A really great light. I definitely recommend this product.

Without a battery (bare tool) and lense in down position it's 7 1/4 . With the adjustable lense pointing straight up the max height of bare tool is 9 inches. EXCELLENT LIGHT ALL AROUND.
