Rated 4 out of 5 by from Overall a great tool Overall a great tool. This is my second Freeman tool of this kind and I am am happy with the quality, performance, and price of these tools. Would definitely buy a Freeman again. Very handy to have a combo nailer/stapler, especially one that can quickly convert to a flooring nailer/stapler. The tool is fairly straightforward to set up and use. The flooring attachment can be adjusted for flooring of different thicknesses (up to 5/8" I believe). I found that trying to make adjustments can be tricky since there are two moving parts, and it was the first time I used the tool. The other issue I had was that the first time I used the tool I was having problems with staples not sinking in far enough (the first few were ok, but next several would be half in...), however, I realized that the issue was actually with my compressor. I read over the instructions for the nailer again and then read over the specs on my compressor and figured out that even though my compressor (which is only a small 2 gallon) could reach the right PSI, it couldn't hold it and couldn't deliver enough air to properly work the tool. This tool requires an air delivery of something like 1.7 SCFM @ 90 PSI. My compressor could only deliver 0.7 SCFM @ 90 PS - so it simply couldn't deliver the air the tool needed (even though it could reach 90 PSI). So I bought a new compressor that could deliver 2.6 SCFM @ 90 PSI, and the issue immediately went away (staples went in consistently well).
