Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice shower rod, poor install hardware Chose this shower rod because its not adjustable. Most adjustable rods, where the two ends meet (to provide adjustability), always cause the curtain to get hung up. One smooth rod, no joins, always works better. Its easy to cut this rod down to an appropriate length with a metal hacksaw blade - which I did. Now the bad, I was going through tiles to mount this rod - had a tile bit which worked fine. However, the anchors provided with this rod are garbage. The would not grab in the wall - perhaps it was because of the tile. I ended up using butterfly bolts to get a secure mount.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Shower Curtain Rod Great looking rod for which I've received compliments because the rod and brackets are made of thick metal with a simple, sleek design, so it has the look of quality and solidity, but it's one of the best priced ones available. I use roller shower curtain hooks and it's a breeze to open and close and a pleasure, because of the solid materials and feel. I was concerned it might sag because a door slides under it, so I hung it with 3/4" clearance. After two months it's dropped a little bit over 1/8" - the clearance is fine. It's a great value. I highly recommend it.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Rusting after 1 month ! Bought this 1.5 months ago. Looked absolutely beautiful and well designed. Extremely disappointed that it is forming rust spots just 1 month after the install !!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice Product. Solid bar, hidden screws, great price and fast delivery is why I got this. Used stronger wall anchors than those provided. Only other thing that kept this from a better rating is the package contained no interior protection like bubble wrap. Could have easily been crushed in delivery.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Attractive practical addition to tub showers. Sturdy clean design, and a seemingly more noticeable curve then many/most other rods. That extra curve gives even more room inside the shower, a nice extra benefit.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Adds space. Easy install. Really does add space to shower area. Easy to put up. Fairly sturdy. Just got it so I can't say much for durability over long term.

My shower “length” is 52 1/2”.  This is the straight rod length.  Is this curved shower rod adjustable? Or can it be cut down?

Asked by: John
While not adjustable in length, the bar is held in place by two allen-key bolts per end, so I can see no reason why you couldn’t cut the bar down to a smaller size.  (The bar is blunt on each end, allowing it to be moved/twisted slightly on the end mounting brackets. The allen-key bolts are used to stop movement/twisting, and they also help adjust the angle of the bar , so it doesn’t droop under the weight of the shower curtain.)

Do you have the dimension between the two mount screws? I am trying to find some rod that has 1 3/8 inches between the mounting screws.

Asked by: TedD
The dimensions between the mounting screws are 1 3/8" on our 1145-CRV curved shower rod. Regards, Frost Customer Support Team
