Rated 1 out of 5 by from DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY! We bought this table not even two years ago and it’s literally falling apart. We used it maybe a handful of times and is always covered. The base is completely disintegrating and crumbling off everywhere. Making a huge mess on our deck but also we now have this massive, heavy eyesore. The top is also rough shape with peeling, cracking and grout missing. The company offered us a $50 gift card to help purchase parts or a new one. Is that a joke? This isn’t a parts issue. It’s a horrible quality issue that shouldn’t have happened in less than two years! HIGHLY do not recommend!! Junk.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fire table The pack age was too big to fit in the back of my van(it’s seats down) had to remove it from box to get it in. It’s a solid piece not light. The rocks it comes with burn and turn black and doesn’t look very nice. I’ll be replacing those with the glass rocks for a better visual. Nice cover but worried about it blowing off so we put a bungee cord around the bottom. We have had some severe winds. Didn’t realize it couldn’t be on wood, so we ended up finding some tin, and put on that so we could have it on our deck. Overall very pleased with it except the rocks are disappointing.

Contacted Home Depot right away and was offered a small discount. Wasn’t a big flaw so we were satisfied with that. We stored the fire table in our heated basement until late May when we put the table on our new deck. Within two weeks it now has massive cracks/fault lines all around the table top. For a $769 table I am very disappointed. Now there are none in stock and based on other reviews with same issue not sure I’d buy this one again anyway.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice product Nice table, but came damaged. Home Depot gave us a small credit for our trouble. This was acceptable, as the damage was underneath the table and not too visible. It’s a beautiful table and we love it, but it’s very heavy. So when moving it.. you would need two people. This is why I gave it four stars due to the damage and the weight.

I wish I had seen these reviews before purchasing..1 winter and the table top started disintegrating. Yes it was covered when not in use and taken off the deck in winter. Wow, it doesn’t look good for Home Depot or the manufacturer. Please don’t give me the line about humidity or moisture, this is an outdoor fire table and we live in Canada. Since we can’t afford to buy a replacement, perhaps someone could provide information on how to restore the table top? It does look bad and is not going unnoticed 

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Hampton Bay 42IN Fire Table Great table. Sits up to 6 easily. You can put your legs under the table. It's heavy. The finish looks good so far but we only had it one month. Seems solid. The flames curves towards the centre but it still looks nice and gives off a fair amount of heat to burn off the dew and dampness. Lights very easily. The underside of the burner seems better thought out then our previous HB fire pit that had some type of fire retardant gyprock board that disintegrated a few years after we got it. It has a plastic protective cover. We'll see how the finish and materials holds up in the winter.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fireside table No regrets about this choice! Wanted a heavier piece as less likely to be stolen. Fits THAT bill perfectly. Sits 4+ so very comfortably. The fire is beautiful, ambience is admired by everyone passing by. Wouldn’t hesitate, for 1 second, recommending this product. It’s a purchase that, for once, didn’t make us feel as if we paid too much. This is a premium piece.

Can this be placed on a wood deck?

Thank you for reaching out! It is perfectly safe to put the unit on a real wooden deck, however, we do not recommend that the unit be placed on a composite wooden deck. If you would like, as an added safety precaution, you may place a heat resistant mat underneath the unit or most hardware stores will also carry heat resistant tile. We just purchased this table. I love the look and quality. But I'm very disappointed in how much propane this uses. We used it 2 nights.....just sitting on our deck and it used a full tank 20lb. This is not normal at all. Do you know of this issue?

I have had this table for a full summer now. We have a 20lb tank hooked up, we don’t use it every night but when we use it, it’s on low and it’s usually for a few hours. Our tank seems to last a while.  Hope that helps.

Hi! Many reviews that the top cracks and chips. If buying this fire table, do you have a recommendation on how to protect it? For example, should I apply an additional sealant to it, and if so, which one? I have read your responses on storage already too

I personally have nit had a chipping or cracking issue with our table. We do keep it covered with a waterproof cover when not in use.

When the weather turns to frost, snow and heavy rains, it is best to store your fire pit table in a semi-heated garage to protect your Envirostone base from damage that may occur when in freezing temperatures, or extended water exposure.
