Uhoh...they have very short shafts, without a locking groove to lock into my Milwaukee M-18 1/4" impact, so you have to use them in a magnetic adapter....except the nut driver magnet is very strong. Thats good ....but it is way stronger than the magnetic adapter! End result, when you lift off a fastener the nut driver stays on the nut and comes out of the adapter. Frustrating to use. They could have been a cool, useful, go-to set of nut drivers, instead I don't use them.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very Good When Used Properly I own the 1/4" & 5/16" bits from this set. They work well & have strong magnets. They are NOT made to be directly mounted in an impact driver. This is in the item description in Home Depot's listing. They do not have the universal quick change locking 1/4" hex shank with the 3/16" OD, 3/16 wide radiused recess made for push & release locking collet like holders found on most cordless impact drivers & some cordless screwdrivers. They have a short 1/4" hex shank, with the standard nicked corners about 5/16" from the butt end, intended for use in a magnetic or spring clip bit holder & regular drill chucks. With the correct holder they work in impact drivers or locking cordless drivers. I use them in my Makita impact driver with a short Milwaukee magnetic impact bit holder. The length of its shaft DOESN'T MAKE A DIFFERENCE in the ability to stay put in cordless impact drivers, contrary to what one negative review stated; a longer shaft would still fall out. The shafts in this set will mount directly into a cordless drill chuck or any type or 1/4" hex magnetic holder or screwdriver & are superior for this use

While it worked well for the two times I used it it welded into both my old Dewalt and brand new Milwaukee drills. It was impossible to remove and the drills no longer functioned. Thank God the Milwaukee was only 2 weeks old and still under warranty. I recommend only using this product in an impact drill.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent quality and versatility. These are extremely handy in hard to reach areas, as they canbe used in a variety of different length extenders/bit holders. They are not meant to be used without a 1/4" bit holder/extender. They have a very strong super magnet, that is a must for me. I was sick of using multiple socket extenders and sockets that are non magnetic trying to reach tight spaces that I couldn't fit my hand in, so I got these and a 6" extender from Milwaukee. Not that same task that was a struggle every time, is a breeze and takes two seconds. The color coded bands also makes grabing the correct size nut driver a time saving breeze.

will this set work with the milwaukee right angle attachment 49-22-8510?

These will fit the 1/4 hex drive, but they will not stay locked in. So yes they will work, but no you won't be happy when they constantly fall out. Buy something with a little longer shank that has a locking groove, Milwaukee makes them, just not in a low priced 5pc. set.
