Does this soil mix contain peat?

I bought this soil to plant veggies with my 4 year old granddaughter at my home and planned on purchasing some for her daycare, but the bag says keep out of the reach of children. Is this soil not safe for children to plant vegetables in.

When used as directed this product should pose no unreasonable risk to humans. This statement "Keep Out of Reach of Children" is a general precaution statement. Product should not be stored where unattended children (especially small children) might get into it and possibly put it in there mouth. The product is safe for children to handle. Since you mentioned daycare as well we wanted to add that if peanut or nut allergies are a concern we do not add them to the product but, the compost that is used in our soil mixture may have contained peanuts or nut products at one time, and we cannot guarantee that they will not be contained in the soil.
