Rated 3 out of 5 by from Works, sort of... It seems to be an exact replacement for the original ones in our kitchen sink on which the clips eventually broke after 25 years. There are several styles of clip/post and this specific one was actually hard to find, so we kind of didn't have a choice. Price seems OK. Rubber seal seems leak proof and the sink fills up when it's pushed down, but when pulled up to let the water out, some food waste passes around the outside of the strainer rather than getting trapped in it. I'd estimate the basket catches only about 75% of the waste, but this is a fault of the design rather than this specific item. How hard would it be to design one with a pop-up centre that leaves the basket in place when letting the water out, so that it all passes through the strainer?

will this strainer fit a Blanco sink that has a post and ball strainer?
