Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent Product Strange, there used to be about a dozen reviews more or less evenly split between customers who loved this product and customers who hated it, complaining it doesn't stick. I was going to speculate that maybe it had something to do with the substrate, i.e. the material of the tub. My house is about 60 years old, and still has the original enamelled steel tub/shower. I purchased this product 4 months ago, cleaned and dried the bottom of the tub well, and applied the stips. They are still adhering with no problems, and are non-slip without being abrasive. I recommend them highly. I'd suggest that anyone reviewing the product identify your tub material. Maybe the unsuccessful applications have been to acrylic or another more modern material.

First shower, they were floating around the tub. We bought another package and this time left it for 5 days to cure....first shower, 2 came off, since then, they are all off. Should be zero stars but you have to enter something or you can't proceed.....money wasted

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Work well - very sticky and no lifting. One of the tubs in our home is extra slippery and has a more severe drain than our kids were used to, so we got these to help out. They stuck on really well, and show no signs of lifting. I put three strips down diagonally across the bottom of the tub to ensure they drain and seems to be working. Have been using for about 2 months now.

can these tread strips be applied to an acrylic bath tub?

can this product be used on hardwood stairs to prevent slipping?

and does the product come in other colours?

This product is to be used for bathtubs only and not recommended for stairs. There is a product in the market that is much more coarser and would recommend this as it is constantly being walked with shoes or boots and requires this.
