Rated 1 out of 5 by from Can't stop the leaking The first one I bought starting leaking at the end cap. The replacements did not leak at the start and all seemed OK but then there was a change in the weather to very hot and most of the fittings started to leak. I tighten them, and with changing temperatures the fittings seem to come loose and start leaking again.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very good product for a new install Works well so far and looks pretty solid and reliable for the long run. Will see how everything turns back on next season.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Leaks right out of the box Just purchased this to "upgrade" my sprinkler system. All hooked up and ready to go so I turned on the water. Two of the three valves leak out of the top. I read other reviews mentioning something similar. I should have listened. Disappointing that Home Depot carries low quality.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from The manifold leaked on one side in just one season The manifold is not good quality or not meant for Canada. The manifold end part leaked in one season - not a small but big leak. Tried all possibilities. Already spent $35 in applying 3 putty glue for stopping the leak but of no use. Useless product, buy it if you want a temporary solution for your lawn for few months. Not a sturdy or long lasting product.

Moved into a new house with this sprinkler system recently. There are two of these manifolds, but one is different. The black piece is round, not hexagonal. It leaks like crazy. Why? Do I need to replace it? They're also not responding to control panel.

Asked by: Smittymcsmitherson
May be older valves (the black cylinders are the valves) ....if they leak, try manually tightening clockwise.....depending on whats leaking the valves may need replacement.....easy to find at Home Depot or online....as for not responding to controller, measure voltage when you turn on each valve to ensure its 24 voltsdc and if so, then the valves need replacement......

can i use this manifold with the blu-lock 3/4 in piping?

Asked by: rickc
Good Community answer. The poly fittings on the output of the valves fits 3/4" BluLock perfectly with a gear clamp. If using poly pipe on the input side you'll need another poly fitting which is available in all stores. It's very common to use double clamps on pressure side of manifolds.

what is the difference between the orbit 91207 (this product) and the orbit 57253 (Orbit 57253 3-Valve Heavy Duty Preassembled Manifold)?
Asked by: bluekiwi
The difference is 3 adapters for 3/4” polyethylene tubing. 91207 was supposed to have jar top valves but it came with the less costly valves using 4 screws to secure the top to the body. Certainly not worth the price difference for 3 polyethylene tubing adapters.

My irrigation is run with 1/2 poly for drip speakers etc can this manifold be used. Already have pressure regulators anti siphons but looking to automate with timer since I have have 4+ zones front and 10 in back manually switching takes hours to run them all. Can this be connected to 1/2 in poly to automate the valves? If not what is recommended?
Asked by: HomeDepotCustomer
nyrmel, yes you can use this manifold to control your drip systems. Since you already have pressure regulators - which would definitely be needed in this situation - feel free to move forward with installing your drip lines. If you'd like us to walk you through the process of connecting your manifold to your drip system, please give our Support team a call at 1-800-488-6156. We'd be happy to help. Thanks!

Can the valves be manually open and closed if I do not want to use a timer with the system?

Can the valves be manually open and closed if I do not want to use a timer with the system?
Asked by: Anthony
Anthony, yes you can do this if you prefer to not use a controller. Simply turn each solenoid 90 degrees counterclockwise to open the valve - you may first want to watch and make sure you're getting enough water flow that way - and when you're ready to close the valve, turn it back 90 degrees clockwise to fully tighten it.

Has the leak problem or issue fixed yet?

Im looking at a lot of the reviews most say that your product leaks. If i were to glue this in instead just keeping it removable. Would that help with it possibly leaking?
Asked by: DavidMustang
We have not been able to verify any widespread issues with leaking and many of these reviews are due to incorrect installation of the valves. While the manifold could be glued, it should not be necessary. If you install this and experience any leaks, please contact us and we'll find solutions of provide replacements for any damaged parts, all covered under warranty.
