Will these work in the cf325xp? The previous cell was orange.

No. See the answer from Paslode. On the left side of the canister, in very small letters, is the text 'Not For Use in CF325XP'; visible once you zoom in on the photo. The HomeDepot, and this page, does a very poor job of noting this; wasted an hour round trip after a sales associate gave me the wrong one.

How does the Red fuel cell work in the Paslode cordless framing nailer? I can't get the guns cap to fit properly onto the fuel cell.

I can use the fuel cell with the round orange cap to work, but not the other.

Make sure you snap the top of the fuel cell all the way onto the fuel cell before use.

If you mean on different projects, over differing months, yes, AS LONG AS YOU READ THE EXPIRATION DATE. The fuel deteriorates over time to the point of not firing every time.

I have both types and have used them on my nailer as well. You simply have to make sure to use the same connector assembly on the opening portion of the gas.
