Can it be used for staining brick?

QUIKRETE&reg; Liquid Cement Color cannot be topically applied. It contains no binder, and will wash off. It must be mixed with a portland cement based product to be used.

How many bags of what size does this do?

One bottle of colour will do about 150 pounds of concrete mix. That is 3 bags 22.5 KG each. This mix is recommended to give the colour and density normally desired. You may want to experiment a bit if you are trying for a special effect or colour match. Unless you want streaks and swirls, make sure you mix completely into the concrete.

QUIKRETE&reg; Liquid Cement Colors can be used with a variety of our products. QUIKRETE&reg; Concrete Mix is suitable for building a walkway. Alternately, we recommend Sand (Topping) Mix, which does not contain gravel and is easier to finish smoothly.
