SharkBite Max fittings and valves don't require a PEX tube liner, and a re-engineered body allows you to insert the pipe using less force and greater ease. The single lever quarter turn handle allows for quick control over water flow, especially in tight spaces. No soldering, clamps, unions, glue, or special tools required. After inserting the pipe, stainless steel teeth bite down and grip the pipe tightly while a specially formulated O-ring compresses around the pipe to create a watertight seal.
