The curved angled blades make trimming close, easy. The tool is awesome and very sharp. The soft comfort grip handles are easy to grip and spring makes it easy on the hand. The built-in safety lock is easy to lock and unlock with one finger and keeps the blades locked. The non-stick titanium blades are corrosion resistant and should be rust free. The spring action opens and closes the blades effortlessly. Comes in a pack of 3. I’ll be getting the straight blade clippers soon! They’re great.

These are lightweight and a little delicate tool. They are good for herbs, light veggie work, deadheading or cutting non-woody flowers. These are not good for woody use. If you use scissors or wish you had something that would not damage cuttings as your current shears do, this is what you are looking for. I really like how these bend to the side vs the pruners that curve upward. They have a spring opener and easy to use. The lock is nice as it does not slide up inadvertently with your thumb. Description could be clearer as it says its “no stick titanium blades” yet it clearly states on the packaging that they are “stainless steel titanium coated”, pure titanium would be far more expensive.

They work very nicely for deadheading and trimming plants with softer non-woody stems. They did a great job cutting back my geraniums that I am bringing inside for the winter. I tried them on my holly and azalea plants that had some longer young shoots - but the results were not very good. Some shoots cut nicely, but many others just rode along the blades and popped out of the way. The shears are easy to squeeze and can be locked in the closed position. The handles have rubberized coating to improve grip - but they are short, so leverage is minimal. Men with large hands might find these shears a bit too small.

I have over a dozen different plants so I need good tools to keep them looking nice and healthy. The Viagrow curved blade shears are perfect for my plants that have stems that are harder to reach. The curve makes it easy for me to do a good job without damaging the plant. I also like that the pruning shears are comfortable to use and do not take up a lot of room in my tool container.

The only thing that gives them a lower rating is the fact that they tend to slide up the blade while starting the cutting. However, they do make a very clean cut. The cutting blade is 2" long and the entire tool length is 6.5". Perfect length for sticking in a back pocket. I used them today to snip some rose stems and small branches on a tree. Larger branches will require larger shears. There is a spring to push blade apart and a safety lock to keep shears together. The titanium coated, stainless steel blades resist corrosion and are non-stick for years of use. I see these as being handy shears in the gardening tool kit. Flowers will get trimmed with ease.

These shears are exactly what we have been looking for to accurately and safely trim our indoor plants. We also use them outdoors for surgically precise and accurate cutting of various bushes and plants. The non-slip comfort grip assures the shears will not move in your hand while cutting. See attached photographs. This is another outstanding product from Viagrow.
