Rated 1 out of 5 by NotHappyAboutThis from TRASH/STICKS AND BUGS I bought 2 bags of this soil back in AUG/19. 1 bag was used for transplanting a indoor plant into a bigger pot. After the first 2 weeks i started noticing Fungal Grants which i got rid of quick with horticulture sticky traps laid in the soil. Another week had past and now i had spider mites on this plant and the other 2 i had around it. Plants where tossed. With the second bag which remand sealed up in tell Nov,25th 2019 I planted another 10 veg seedlings. They started getting Fungal Grants and spider mites same as the one I had transplanted 3 months back. Thanks alot VIGORO you cost me time and money.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Peter from Buyer Beware I have purchased this product is the past with grate results but recently bought only to find that it now if full of SLOW RELEASE FERTILIZER meanwhile there are no markings on the bag that make this claim!!!. It is absolutely ridiculous to add a chemical fertilizer to a product with no way for the consumer to know until they open the bag. This soil is useless to me, thanks for wasting my money and time.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Chelsea from Garbage This mix was mostly chunks of wood, and straw. The pot I filled with this sprouted dozens of mushrooms, and even after digging them out, my seedlings were scraggly and leggy compared to ones I planted in different mix.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Frustrated Gardener from Full of grub eggs! After reading the reviews on Miracle Grow potting mix, I decided to purchase the Vigaro instead. I suggest you keep looking for another potting mix. I opened 3 of my bags and found them full of grub eggs. Not that it was a lot of money, but now I have to find someplace to ditch this dirt that won't affect anything else in my garden/grass, and I still haven't got potting soil I can use.

Rated 1 out of 5 by dipohl from Holds on to moisture I purchased numerous bags of this soil this spring as I have many hanging baskets, pots and planters to fill each year. The price made it far more feasible for me. However, I've had terrible luck with my plantings because this soil holds on to the moisture from my initial watering so long that the plants rotted off at the surface and died. It was like the soil never released the moisture at all. Weeks later, it's still wet! The plants didn't stand a chance!

My plants are now infested with small flying Gnats and so is my home. My plants are now outside and won't be coming back inside. I am still left with the problem of the gnats flying around my home and trying to decide if I need to toss all my plants which were not repotted. "WARNING" ONLY TO BE USED FOR OUTDOOR CONTAINERS!!!!!!

Save yourself the trouble, add a couple of dollars and get the Farm root brand or Nature's Care. Would definitely not recommend this product.

I'm now stuck speculating about whether nutrients were added to the mix and if so, in what proportions. I'm new to gardening and I will take a closer look next time before purchasing products from this manufacturer.
