QUIKRETE® Bonded Topping Mix is suitable for most concrete repair work, including the installation of fully bonded thin section repairs to concrete slabs, patios, driveways, and steps. QUIKRETE® Bonded Topping Mix is a special blend of Portland cement, admixtures, bonding agents and specially prepared sand. The ratios of the components are controlled to give a product with excellent adhesion properties, rapid strength gain and excellent durability. This product is also suitable for use as a leveling course under thin-set mortars in the installation of ceramic tiles or under other porous surfacing materials.

  1. Rapid set - about 1½ hours at 18-24oC (65-75oF)
  1. Ready for foot traffic in about 2 ½ hours
  1. Moist curing is normally not necessary
  1. Overlays.

  1. For trowel applications, each 18 kg bag of QUIKRETE® Bonded Topping Mix will yield approximately 1.7 m2 at 6 mm (18 ft2 at ¼”) thickness
  1. For broom applications, the yield will vary with the texture and thickness required. For most broom applications, a yield of approximately 7-8 m2 (75-85 ft2) per 18 kg bag can be expected.
