There are some small images on the front for inserting new blades and text on the back about how to remove the knife from the packaging but it still took some trial and error to figure it out. Used it to cut carpet and underlay. This is the first time I've purchased a premium utility knife and it was well worth the money. Comfortable, well constructed and holds an edge. All around great knife.

The blades are the wrong size and do not clip in as they are supposed to. The blade release button is shoddy and does not function properly. Overall an extremely disappointing product. I have always considered Dewalt to be one of the best names in tools but I will have to reconsider after spending good money on this completely worthless tool. Do not buy.

Unfortunately for this knife, the ability to install and change blades is one of them. I had to go watch a YouTube video to see how it's supposed to work, but the one I have seems broken - I can't get any blade installed, and now I see from other reviews that it seems to be a common issue. Will be returning this ASAP.
