Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent Sump Pump This is the best sump pump I have ever owned. We got 30 inches of rain and it kept my basement dry, not like some others. Would recommend to anyone in need of a pump that pumps water fast.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Solid Product Just bought this sump pump as preventative measure to replace aging unit. We are in a moderate water basin, never had a flood but pump is quite active in Spring and during heavy rain periods. Real easy to install. Previous owner didn't install a check valve so that's a good reminder, and also installed it on a bed of gravel. Cleaned all that out and installed it sitting on top of a couple bricks. Tested by pouring water into pump basin and it works like a charm, powerful yet quiet.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Lasted six months I purchased the Everbilt sump pump in July '19 and it lasted six months before failing during a heavy rainstorm in January '20. The problem with this sump pump is the switch. I returned home an heard the motor running continuously. The switch wouldn't go in to the off position after pumping out water. I had replaced the 1/3 hp Everbilt pedestal pump that had the same switch failure after a year and a half. No more Everbilt!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Works well but rust I bought this about a month ago because my sump pump failed. It Was easy to install but I’m now seeing rust forming around the base. Makes me worry how long it will last.

I have an Everbilt 1/2 hp submersible in my sump pit which is 24" deep. During rainy times it is cycling on every 30 seconds. Would the cycle times be longer and less stress on the pump if I used a pedestal pump?

Asked by: Soaps
You can adjust a pedestal pump float a little bit more however with the motor being on top of the pedestal and not in the basin it could be quite a bit louder.

i am a senior and my husband is disabled. Have water in the basement and need a sub pump Do I need to have this pump installed? How does it work?
Asked by: finenana
This pump is easy to install by following the instruction manual, especially if you are replacing a similar stye pump in a sump basin. If it is a new installation and you are not comfortable with basic plumbing, you may want to contact a professional plumber. Thanks, Everbilt Customer Service
