Rated 4 out of 5 by from Worked very well Bought this to re-paint our wooden kitchen cabinet doors and drawers. We used good quality paint and this sprayer worked very well, no clogging. It does push out a lot of spray even on the low setting. Worth practising on scrap boards first to get used to how it handles. The plastic paint containers are a great idea and about the right size for the kind of job it was used for. Any large projects and this will be a pain re-filling very often. Cleaning was a little messy but the effort is worth it to maintain the performance of the machine. Worth the money compared to having to buy new doors or hiring a pro to come in and do the job.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fantastic paint sprayer I bought this 6 months ago. I started small, painting four Muskoka chairs. There is a learning curve, but even so, my first chair was a better result than I had EVER achieved with a brush. Two months ago I decided to paint a shed with water-based paint that is classified as a stain, and needs warm weather. The shed was 8 x 8 x 12 ft. I taped plastic vapor barrier to the roof to protect the shingles, and taped the drip edges, and then went at it. My masking preparation took about two hours, my cleanup (I am fastidious and I think you need to be) took about 1/2 hour. The spray painting took FIVE MINUTES! SERIOUSLY. I had to refill twice, so maybe ten minutes but it was amazing. And the quality was better than anything I might have expected with roller or brush. Even my wife likes the sheds now. Then, just to show off, I painted the foundation concrete with the same color but with a concrete paint. Again water based. Same thing. Time for masking, time for cleanup of maybe 60 ft by 4 to 6 feet. I raked back the mulch at the foot of the foundation and masked the top where the siding started. I used the twelve inch spray tip, and total excluding reload was maybe ten minutes. Quality: AMAZING Most important part is meticulous cleanup. So far I have only used water based paint/stain. I have not tried things like polyurethane which I think would NOT work well, but don't know. I LOVE my Graco!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Will spray thickest paints I had another sprayer to paint my kitchen cabinets, and it would not spray the stix primers. We bought this at home depot and works like a dream. I don't have to thin the thickest paints of primers I am using. The special paints for cabinets goes on very nice, professional finish. Because of its design, when you squeeze all the air out of the paint tank you can paint upside down, any angle. Comes with two nozzles that work good. Clean the nozzle as you go with the self clean feature, and also use paper towel around the nozzle. Disadvantages is the small paint capacity, have to refill as you go. It does use maybe more paint but i am good with that as I want a thick paint coat. Doing two coats of primer and paint, very happy and recommend to anyone doing a big paint job that wants a great finish.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Waste of time and money! I bought it last year, used it for about an hour, and was unable to finish work because it clogged. I have decided to use it again, opened it, cleaned it, and again was able to use it for only a short time like 10 minutes. None of the troubleshooting tips helped. It is one of the worst products I have ever seen.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Absolutely terrible product As far as I am concerned this thing is a piece of junk.. after following all the instructions for first time use, I started to use it, and it lasted a grand total of 45 seconds before it stopped spraying.. Followed the troubleshooting guide word for word to get it to unclog it and nothing.. took it apart and washed it all out, reloaded the paint and primed it....and nothing.. It made the noise, but no paint came out.. After an hour I finally gave up and switched back to rollers and brushes.. Absolutely terrible product... Don't Buy!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Great but doesn’t last I bought this and painted some doors and closets always cleaning it properly when I was done. You have to practice before painting to avoid a chatter in the paint spray. When you get the speed right it works great! However the pump doesn’t last. I used approx 4 gallons of pain, and then it wouldn’t work. I tried all of the trouble shooting and eventually called Graco. They were great and actually sent me a brand new unit. I painted some brick behind my fireplace half a gallon it turned out beautiful. Refinishing my kitchen cabinets, I got a great primer on, a great first coat on and a little bit of the second coat before once again the pump was done. Approximately 4 gallons of paint went through the unit before the pump went. So….it does a great job but doesn’t last.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Kitchen cabinets turned out great! As advertised, works well with paint right out of the can. I used Bengamine Moore Advance and fresh start primer in my new cabinets with very nice results.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Probably not the one you want. I can almost guarantee this isn’t the paint sprayer you want. It is piston driven and only has two speeds, which means it’s almost impossible to get an even finish. I’m sure there must be a legitimate use for one of these, but having tried it, I’m not sure what it would be. What you want is an HVLP sprayer. Home Depot sells those too. But one of those. I hope this review is helpful.

Can it paint wood stain for a deck?

Asked by: BIG B
Probably fine for that. No flow control, just puts out too much paint/stain for furniture type finishing

Will Extreme Bond Primer from Sherwin-williams work with this? and dose it need to be thinned out?

Asked by: Joe R
Hello, No, I would not recommend the TrueCoat 360 DSP for Extreme Bond Primer from Sherwin Williams. It is pretty thick and with thinning you could still experience issues. Thank you, Graco Technical Support

Does latex 2-1 paint and primer need to be thinned out with water

Asked by: Rick
Hello Rick, 2 in 1 primers can be thicker. I would recommend straining the product first to help with the flow. If you still have difficulties spraying then thin it to the manufacturer's specifications. Thank you, Graco Technical Service

Would this product be good for doing decks and wood siding on house?

Asked by: Brandon87
Hello Brandon87, Thank you for the question. Yes, the TrueCoat 360 DSP has the ability to spray both paints and stains. You will want to make sure that the material is not flammable and can be cleaned up with either water or mineral spirits that are not classified as flammable. It must be either water based material or oil based material that is not flammable. You can look on the paint container for the word flammable or the flammable symbol to determine if it is flammable. If you are unable to locate this information on the material container, I would recommend going online to the material manufacturer's website and review the material's SDS (Safety Data Sheet). Thank you, Graco Technical Service Group
