Rated 1 out of 5 by from Nope. This seems like it should just be easy and yet neither of the two pack I bought worked properly. The first one really isn't sitting flush with the wall (the plastic bit for the outside is just to raised) so the product I wanted to hang is also raised from the wall. The second one straight up broke in the wall and I never got traction with the screw. There was some insulation behind the drywall where I was working which may have prevented it from going in properly but I feel like insulated walls are common. Now I have a 1/2" hike in my wall and my project still isn't don't. I'll be going in to buy a different drywall anchor today.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Poor quality control Went through 2 boxes (4 items) and they all had the exact same problem. The bolts are poorly machined and will jam onto the anchor threads at various points. When this happens whole assembly either just spins in the wall or the plastic insert breaks off leaving nothing to leverage on. The solution was to purchase the same size bolts separately. These properly machined bolts smoothly and freely threaded into the anchor. This is clearly not QC tested before sale.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good product, but be careful with installation I line these toggles because they hold a lot of weight and you can unscrew the bolt and screw it back in again. We were anchoring a bookcase with these and we needed to remove the screws to get to the wall behind the anchored item. My advice would be to not follow the last step in the directions. The directions show a drill being used to screw in the bolt. When I did this, the anchor immediately broke off in the wall. The nice Home Depot CSA refunded my money and I tried again. When I screwed it in by hand first and then the rest of the way with a screwdriver, they worked fine. The shelf seems securely anchored to the wall.

What is the difference between this and https://www.homedepot.ca/product/paulin-1-4-inch-toggler-anchors-10pk/1000695135? The price difference is huge. Would these fit 1/4" bolts? I want to use these with a TV wallmount (with 1/4" bolts). Thanks.

Hello. Model # 843-689 has 10 anchors, while model# 843-673 has 2 anchors. These two models are for 1/4"-20 bolts. Thank you.
