Chicago Screws also known as binding screws consist of one male screw and one female (barrel) post. Length is measured between heads after screw is assembled. Aluminum extensions are used to build up post lengths. Extensions may be grouped together to produce longer lengths. Recommended for holding or squeezing multiple sheets of material together. Commonly used on whirligigs, leather belts, swatch or sample books, saddles, or holsters.
Breakaway Drawer Handle Screws are notched at various points along the shaft in order to provide the correct length required depending on drawer front thickness.
Aluminum provides the highest degree of strength to weight ratio of any other type of fastener. Designed for light to medium load applications, aluminum screws are highly corrosion resistant and are ideal for windows, doors, aluminum siding, boats and other marine applications.
Paulin Socket Set Screws are fully threaded headless screws with a hex drive used to fasten in confined areas and where the head must be recessed below the surface. The screw passes through a threaded hole in the outer object and is tightened against the inner object to prevent it from moving relative to the outer object.
