First of all, all knee pads that has straps that wraps around your legs can become uncomfortable after a long period of use, however this hinged system keeps the knee pads in place and the straps don't slide inside your joint causing discomfort and cuts in blood circulation. So this knee pads are very comfortable to wear, offer good protection to the knees and are well suited to work on any surface. As some reviews mentioned before, the velcro straps look flimsy but do their work fine and I personally haven't had any issues so far. Overall I'm very happy with these.

Very comfortable but the hinged parts keep coming unscrewed may need to add a little lock tight or something but if warranty ever voids when registered online they will also work if you take the hinged parts off and just have regular knee pads. I also noticed when on your knees the brackets seem to hook both pads together which kinda sucks if you gotta move in certain positions when doing ceramic tile etc.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good knee pads The knee pads are good. The area of and comfortable when using them for long jobs. They have a big surface area to support your knees. I thought the extra support would be good when moving and it is when you are moving around on your knees. But when you stand up with them they tend to move down a bit and you have to readjust them. Overall they are good. I just wish they stayed in place a bit better after standing up.

No replacement if you happen to lose one. The Velcro straps loose their elasticity and the hook and loop attachment weakens over time. When you walk the pads slide down to your ankles. Very annoying to continually have to pull the pads up over pant legs.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Quality issue The pad itself is super comfortable, but after 2 months the one pad hinge pins (screws) keep falling out and one is now lost. Because one side of the hinge screw is covered by material I am not able to tighten fully when it comes loose.
