Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works as advertised 1st gen was working great but recently my 2nd camera above garage was starting to go offline. Stinks because i only had it a year and had to upgrade to this one but since its dual wifi (2.4/5 ghz rogers ignite) it seems more stable to keep both my cameras online and running. Setup is simple, just plug, connect to home wifi and it picks up your existing items instantly without having to setup again. Nightlight is a nice touch but not necessary, you can turn it off in the app

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Whats white and dies in 90days? Ring! I paired device with Ring wired doorbell 2.4ghz and it worked as advertised for almost 90 days, then failed. I was hesitant to buy given poor reviews and high fail rate. At least Ring is consistent, making garbage products. For context, ive been through 2 ring doorbells and 1 camera and now this. All failed. Silver lining? Home Depot and the hassle free return policy. Thank you!

Can this be wired in? It is replacing an ancient door bell chime that is hard wired.

The difference between the Chime and Chime Pro is that the Chime Pro is a wifi extender, in addition to providing audible alerts inside your home.
