First of all I was excited to test out the speaker despite the reviews I had read about it. But I'm always one to see for my self and the results are as expected. If you are thinking of using the speaker for music in the garage think again, it will be very distorted since you will need to raise the volume high but if you will be using it for making calls then it's definitely something that will function normally. Since the speaker will be only for making and receiving calls without me having to touch and hold my phone I needed to find a different solution for my music. Overall the product is really made for calls anyways so keep that in mind if you are thinking of purchasing this item.

I can rock out while working in the garage or even stream NFL Sunday radio games while I am in the garage. The ability to control the Bluetooth speaker from the phone or the panel is just awesome. One of the best feature of this unit is the ability to answer your phone and use it as a speaker phone with out having to stop what you are doing to answer or make calls. Way too cool and convient. This is a must have if you have a Ryobi garage door, if you do not have one this is a good reason to get one I am so happy with this purchase.

I figured I could always return it if I didn't like it. so far the music works well. haven't received any phone calls on it yet though. sometimes the audio lags though. if I have it paired with my phone playing pandora and cruising Facebook at the same time or some other app I've noticed I need to pause the music and let it catch up. May or may not be the bluetooth connection. also, 30ft? more like 15ft if you're lucky. don't plan on taking your phone or tablet anywhere other than your garage while attempting to stream music. it doesn't sound like a nice stereo system but it does get loud. but sometimes it distorts. for $44 I'll keep it

It connected flawlessly to my phone and works great with the Ryobi GDO app. Here's what I will say. It is perfect for receiving and making phone calls. The sound is crisp and clear. Now, don't expect this speaker to blow you away. That is not what it is meant to do. It is not high powered nor is there a lot of bass. I do listen to music on it and it does sound decent if the volume is kept at a reasonable level. If you turn it up to high, it will distort. But given for what it is made for, I am extremely happy with it and would highly recommend. (Ryobi: if you're listening, it would be great if you did come out with one that could use one of the two 120v outlets and was made for music. I'd buy it in a heartbeat...)

The speaker is pretty loud, and my wife who always notices when I am on speaker did not know that I was talking to her through one this time. It was also very easy to set up. I would definitely recommend this for someone who already has the Ryobi GDO.

I like the gray and neon green look to it. I really don't have much to say about this speaker. I didn't know when I order the speaker it was only compatible with a garage door opener that I don't have and don't need. It's compatible with the model GD200 Ryobi garage door opener. I'm sad to say I wish I would of looked in further details before selecting this bluetooth speaker. I assumed it would work with any components but I was wrong. I did include a few picture of this speaker although. I put 3 stars only because I like the way it looks and size. Please make sure you have the exact garage door opener prior to purchase.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Dont run a marathon and stop short 100 yds... Just purchased this BT speaker $44 to add to my GDO. Was one of the customers who bought this new modular GDO soon after release. Have fan and extension cord accessory already. Like others said. The speaker is not high def. But it is good everywhere else. For example, the mic, which allows you interactive phone calls. The location and integration with the GDO, which allows you to work and listen without the usual and extra fussing around. Like was said. Higher sound quality would finish this marathon. Stil, am very glad I have made this purchase.

Only if you're running Bluetooth 5.0 or better. Anything below 5.0 cannot run dual speakers at the same time.
