The first thing I did was install a GPS tracker linked to my phone, just in case….. Without any thing in it I ran water over it to check the claim that it is water proof and it is. The rubber seal does its job. If this is loaded to capacity and any of the other nesting boxes are loaded to capacity you had better be in good shape if you are climbing stairs!! My son works IT for a company and has to haul tools in his truck. He has requested to borrow this tool box set to see if it will work for him; so far so good, so it looks like another will be needed. Considering what the competition costs in comparison to this and it becomes an easy choice to make. The “Double Organizer Bin” will hold a couple 2 ah batteries, but that’s it. Deeper bins would have been nice. The drill bit holder is brand specific, but loose bits work okay. I still give it *****.

This Link medium box will be so handy for storing and then transporting necessary tools and other items to where they are needed. It is made of very sturdy plastic weighing only five pounds but can hold up to eighty pounds inside. There are a couple of bins included and more can be added. The handle makes it easy to carry around, but can sit atop another Link box and be wheeled on top of the rolling unit. My rolling unit is in transit and can't wait to use it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love This Tool Box [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When I saw these tool boxes that stacked I wanted them really bad as a Ryobi fan but I was like “Meh, I can get another rolling tool box cheaper” I know I know BLASPHEMY but I got a bonus at work, so I was able to purchase the big, medium and small tool box. I want the whole line up of Ryobi Link items but it’ll probably be a while before I can get everything I want haha. I use the small box for my drills and accessories, the medium for my main tool box, hand tools and such, and then the big box for my power tools. Now that I think of it, I may need another box for the batteries.

I see me using this one of two ways, first for small jobs where I need a few things but don't want to use the rolling cart, second when I need more tools than will fit in the rolling cart. Maybe I will toss my hand tools into it but I still have an old school wooden box that I really like for the hand tools. This might get some use for long distance travel with my tools because it can easily hide in teh storage area of my car. The size of this box makes it a lot more user friendly, big enough for lots of tools, small enough to fit more places.

It easily stacks and locks into place, and has a lot of room for storing power and hand tools. It easily unlocks from the rolling tool box with the push of a button, and can also be used as a stand-alone tool box. It’s impact and water resistant, and has an 80 lb. load capacity. The double bin organizer is good for smaller items such as screws and bolts, and it includes an integrated bit storage compartment. Other Ryobi Link Storage Boxes can also easily stack and lock on top of the box. This is a good quality modular tool box and is a great value.

But hoping that RYOBI steps up the links storage game and starts making ones more comparable to the Milwaukee in different sizes with drawers dividers and such fourth would be amazing

Does this Medium Box (or any Link boxes) come with movable dividers (not just small fixed size bins) or is it just one big box where the contents would just smash around inside when using the handle to carry it and it's turned on its side ?
