[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this a couple days ago along with the standard toolbox, and I love the ability to easily toss tools in and carry them around with the crate for any tools that won't fit in my toolbox, great for circular saws and other large tools. I can also easily fit my backpack or 3 Gal ONE+ Wet Dry Vac inside this to take up less space in my car. I love the ability to not only lock this on top of the toolbox, but also to lock the toolbox on top of this crate, so you aren't forced to put this on the top of your stack. Phenomenal product!

I just got this one smaller piece, so I can't really speak much to the overall system, like some of the other reviewers. I was immediately surprised at the weight of this unit. There is a system locking mechanism built into the bottom that adds some serious weight to it. The whole unit seems very well constructed and solid. The push button locking mechanism seems smooth and sturdy. Handles are a little sharp-edgy, which you might notice during weighty use. For the time being, I'm planning on using this single piece for storage in my car trunk, which is currently being accomplished by a cardboard box.

I can imagine it would hold more however, if you exceed that limit, you risk damaging the internal locking mechanism integral of the base of the crate. I am ultimately using these to organize and store my kid's tools and toys to be able to easily identify and toss in the truck when going on excursions. It's a nice product worthy of a jobsite as well.

My small box is the stuff I know I’m definitely gonna need and the crate is the tools or equipment I know I’m going to probably need. I load up the crate first and then link up my small box right on top and start filling it up. The fact that the other boxes can lock on top of the crate is probably the best feature next to the simple release button.

Also looks and feels  like it is unbreakable. The Ryobink Link technology  makes this link to other link crates and tool boxes in a snap, and keep them holding/stacking together or  hanging on the wall.The Link technology also makes it easier to store and transport them safely.I do recommend it since it is a really good asset to technicians.

I was looking for a sturdy carrying box with fairly specific dimensions to fit on my shelves and into the back of my car. This Ryobi crate fit all that criteria and I now I'm completely intrigued. The crate itself is very heavy duty and certainly has some heft to it. It has no problem holding on to about 40 spray can and does fit all my use cases. To my surprise it has a 'Link' mounting system so you can attach it to other carrying cases (with a positive lock) or 'hang' it off the wall with their mounting system. This blew my mind a bit as I didn't know this way a thing. I have a rolling 3-box tool chest from one of their competitors and it feels suddenly antiquated. Well done Ryobi. One minor drawback, the molded handles do have a fairly sharp edge on them making it a bit uncomfortable when carrying with a full load. I used a small file and sandpaper to round it over. Wish it came this way from the factory but not a huge deal.
