SharkBite large diameter fittings are available in 1-1/4 in., 1-1/2 in. and 2 in. sizes. These fittings are compatible with copper, CPVC, PEX, PE-RT and HDPE pipe in any combination. Just insert the pipe and stainless-steel teeth bite down and grip tight, while a specially formulated O-ring compresses to create the perfect seal. Push-to-connect fittings are designed for potable water (including underground or behind the wall) and radiant heating applications with no access panels required. Always use PEX Stiffeners, (Sold Separately) when using PEX pipe with large diameter fittings.

No tools, soldering, clamps, unions or glue needed

Demount clip allows user to release the pipe from the fitting if mistake is made (sold separately)

I tried a couple of other types of fittings but couldn’t quite get them to where I needed them. Went to the local hardware store and the guy showed me these. I was a little skeptical at first as it looked too easy - but man what an awesome product. I snapped it on and haven’t looked back. It will only need to be removed once a year for winterizing and is reusable. I bought another as a backup. Great product!
