Threaded inserts provide permanent machine screw threads in wood, plastic, soft metal or other porous materials. Threaded inserts are often used to replace worn wood screw or metal screw holes that have become oversized due to wear. Installed with a machine screw, bolt, hex key or screwdriver for those types available with a slotted head. Use flanged type inserts to prevent pull-through. Threaded Inserts prevent wood splitting and the need to use large screws in wood only applications.

Paulin 8-32 Nylon Insert Stop Nut - Pozi-Lok - Zinc Plated - UNC

Used for fastening to a bolt when mechanically joining materials together. The bolt threads into the nylon material located at the top of the nut. This helps prevent loosening from vibration.

Paulin M6-1.0 Metric Pozi-Lok-Nylon Insert Stop Nut - Zinc Plated

Made from medium carbon steel, tempered and zinc plated. Best for areas where high strength is desired. Similar in strength to SAE Grade 5.
