Rated 1 out of 5 by from Don't buy Bought this a couple of years ago. Very poor performance. Having same maintenance issues as other reviewers below. As of this writing, will be pulling it apart......again! Plugged it in this morning to try to transfer some water, it it would not run.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from I'm not convinced and it's LOUD!!! We use this pump to move lake water uphill to a storage tank. It hasn't been used much and already one brush has burned out/ over heated. The brushes supplied are not easy to get back in to replace but I did manage it after a lot of wasted time. Let's see how long this set lasts. It's noisy too, kind of disturbs the whole area when we run it and we have to run it for at least an hour to fill our tank.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Very poor performance Brushes on the motor don’t last past 30 hours of operation. Stay away from this one. I regretfully bought two. One for backup. Both are very substandard performance

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Works well, cn't fix Bought this pump last fall. I've used it about 4 times. I was happy with the pump up till yesterday. Got it plugged up, and was unable to unplug it by reversing flow, so I followed the manual instructions to take the casing apart and unplug. To my surprise, instead of the casing coming apart, the motor came apart. The rotor came out of the stator, and the pump end with rotor attached remained intact. There's only 4 bolts which can be removed. Everything else is sealed, so there is nothing else I can do without the use of machine shop equipment. I'll be returning it.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Much cheaper made than the Old Rigid model My Rigid pump was not working and I needed another pump to pressurize my hydronics heating system. I went back to HomeDepot, where I'd bought my Rigid pump before. Although it says in the overview there is to be a Thermoplastic Carry and Storage Case, there isn't any case included. The pump is very much a cheaper knockoff of the old pump! And more money to boot. And 2 years less warranty. I should have done my homework before picking this up.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Works as promised I use this to pump to get the water off my pool cover. I've had two inexpensive submersible pumps, 1/12 and 1/4HP, and both were very disappointing and failed quickly. This pump is strong enough to collapse the inlet hose, and pumps out harder than my garden hose at 60'. Looks very well built, and glad to buy Ridgid at Home Depot for the service and support.

Where can I get replacement brushes for this pump. Pump failed yesterday. One brush is badly worn and the spring is broken (overheated maybe). Pump motor has a sticker saying brush p/n is HBRUK001. Cannot locate that part number on-line. Tnx

Does this pump have the power to pump water 350 ft from well to pasture?

Asked by: Anonymous
This would depend on the vertical distance from the water to the pump, the vertical distance from the pump to the pasture and several other factors such as suction and discharge pipe / hose material and diameter, use of valves and other fittings, etc. The pump capable of producing 100' of head pressure. can this pump to transfer water up for 25 feet

Asked by: Anonymous
The maximum suction lift is 20 feet when the pump is properly primed. For suction distances of 7 feet and under, priming should not be necessary. For suction distances over 5 feet, a foot valve on the end of the suction line is recommended to maintain prime. On the discharge side, the pump is capable of developing 100 feet of head pressure. The further vertical distance to the water on the suction side, the less head pressure the pump can create on the discharge side. Thanks, Everbilt Customer Service
