Drywall carry-in is a service where a professional crew meets your delivery at the jobsite and carries your drywall and materials inside. Materials are placed directly where you need them, so your crew can get to work right away.

What types of materials are included?

Drywall carry-in is designed for drywall orders and can also include related materials as part of the same job, such as drywall compound, studs, insulation, and more.

Can drywall be placed on upper floors or in basements?

Yes. The carry-in crew can place drywall exactly where you need it.  Including upper floors, basements, and multi-storey builds. We’ll review your jobsite photos in advance (stairs, access points, tight spaces) to ensure a smooth delivery.

Can the service be paired with curbside or boom truck deliveries?

Yes. Drywall carry-in can be paired with either curbside or boom truck delivery, depending on your jobsite needs and access.

How is drywall carry-in pricing determined?

Each job is quoted based on your jobsite’s specific requirements, including order size, number of floors, stairs, and ease of access. To ensure accurate pricing and planning, photos of the jobsite entrance and any stairs or access points are required in advance. Your Pro Desk will review the details and provide a custom quote before confirming the service.

Is there a minimum order quantity?

Yes. The service is typically offered on orders of 100 sheets of drywall or more. Smaller jobs may still be eligible but may be subject to a minimum service fee.

How far in advance do I need to book?

A minimum of 48 hours’ notice is required to coordinate the carry-in crew with your delivery. Please contact your local Home Depot Pro Desk for details and availability.

Where is drywall carry-in service available?

Drywall carry-in service is available in select markets across Ontario, including the Greater Toronto Area and surrounding regions (Toronto, Durham, York, Peel, Halton, and nearby communities). Availability may vary, contact your local Pro Desk to confirm service in your area.

Yes, either you or a representative who is 18 years of age or older must be on the job site to receive the delivery. You will receive either a call or a text approximately 30 minutes prior to the delivery.

Flatbed deliveries can be scheduled Monday through Saturday, and your order will be delivered between 7 a.m. and 8 p.m. Pro Business Account Members can select a 2-hour or 4-hour delivery window during checkout on eligible orders. 2-hour delivery windows incur an additional $20 fee.

Yes, depending on your job site location (see FAQ below), boom truck services are available through your local Home Depot store with a mandatory 2-day advance notice. Boom service is available to deliver products conveniently to your job site's rooftop or first and second story, where and when it's deemed safe to do so by The Home Depot. Rooftop deliveries on shingles are available for $210. First and second story deliveries on drywall cost $410. We do not offer roof loading.

Scheduled flatbed delivery and boom truck services are available in the Greater Toronto Area from Niagara Falls to St. Catharines, north to Barrie, and as far east as Bowmanville. Additionally, boom truck services are also available in Belleville, Woodstock, Huntsville, Parry Sound, Vancouver, Nanaimo, Okanogan, Edmonton, Calgary, Muskoka, Ottawa, Montreal, and Halifax. Boom truck service does not include scattering materials. Regular flatbed delivery services are available in the rest of Canada, excluding the Territories.

$60 for logged in business account Holders. $75 for non-business account holders.

You must be logged into your Pro business account to be eligible. When going through the checkout page on an eligible order, you can select a 2-hour (for an additional $20 fee) or 4-hour window. Delivery windows are subject to availability and cut-off times for next-day delivery may vary by market.

No, “boom and scatter” services are not available.

Yes, if the product is eligible for Bulk Pricing and you meet the minimum purchase required.

No, products that are eligible will show a “Delivery Today/Tomorrow” label on the product listing page. Scheduled Delivery excludes Sundays and holidays.
