Pro Xtra Public Sector is a free, commercial Rebate program designed for Public Sector organizations like Municipalities, Schools or Hospitals that offers a variety of benefits to its Members in appreciation of their commercial business at The Home Depot Canada. All Members receive Purchase Tracking, and the ability to earn Quarterly Rebates on qualifying purchases, including extra Rebates on Qualifying Paint Purchases. Plus, Members that get, link and shop with The Home Depot Commercial Card enjoy 365 day in-store returns and will earn an extra 1% back in Quarterly Rebates. See below for further details.

All Members are eligible to receive Purchase Tracking, Quarterly Rebates on Qualifying Purchases and Qualifying Paint Purchases.
Additional Pro Xtra Public Sector Program Benefits – The Home Depot Commercial Card
In addition to the Pro Xtra Public Sector Program benefits mentioned above, a Pro Xtra Public Sector Member who gets, links and shops with The Home Depot Commercial Card will receive 365 day in store returns and an extra 1% back in Quarterly RebateRebates (starting February 1, 2020).

Registration for Pro Xtra Public Sector Program is by invitation only and is not available to the general public. If you have been invited to join by an Associate Member, you can accept the invitation and follow the registration prompts.

There is no membership fee to join.

A Qualifying Purchase is a purchase made at The Home Depot retail stores in Canada or homedepot.ca, excluding taxes, prior purchases, cash advances, interest fees, delivery charges, warranties, protection agreements, billing fees and payments, purchases of gift cards, or purchases made at affiliates of The Home Depot. Qualifying Purchases do not include Qualifying Paint Purchases, which are purchases of select in-Stock and special order paints, stains or primers from BEHR®, CIL®, GLIDDEN®, KILZ®, and ZINSSER® totaling $2,000 or more over 12 months, made by a Member (or Authorized Buyer as applicable) at The Home Depot retail stores in Canada and on homedepot.ca excluding taxes, prior purchases, cash advances, interest fees, delivery charges, warranties, protection agreements, billing, fees and payments, purchases of gift cards, or purchases made at affiliates of The Home Depot. Qualifying Purchases and Qualifying Paint Purchases are subject to change from time to time. Please confirm the then-current Terms and Conditions posted on this Website at the time of purchase.

Your Pro Xtra ID is your business phone number that’s tied to your Pro Xtra Public Sector Account. It can also be you’re The Home Depot Commercial Card if it’s linked to your Pro Xtra Account. Your Pro Xtra ID uniquely identifies you at checkout to make sure every Qualifying Purchase and Qualifying Paint Purchase you make at The Home Depot count towards your Quarterly Rebate. That’s why it’s so important that you use it every time you shop.
Your Pro Xtra ID also tracks the purchases you make at The Home Depot. We provide this information to you through our online Purchase Tracking benefit.
Here are three easy ways to use your Pro Xtra ID at checkout:
- Key in your Pro Xtra ID during in-store checkout;
- Scan your digital Pro Xtra ID from your mobile device; or
- Link The Home Depot Commercial Card to your Pro Xtra Public Sector Account and when you shop using The Home Depot Commercial Card, it also acts as your Pro Xtra ID.
If you forget to use your Pro Xtra ID in-store, simply use the “Add Receipt” function on your Online Account before the end of the current quarter.

No problem. Log in to your Pro Xtra Public Sector Online Account and use the “Add a Receipt” function. It’s quick, easy and allows you to get credit for all of your Qualifying Purchases. To make sure your purchase counts towards your Quarterly Rebate, be sure to add your receipts before the end of the current quarter.
If you add your receipt after the quarter, but within 12 months, the transaction will count towards calculating your Quarterly Rebate Level.
If you add your receipt after 12-months, your purchase will be included in your Purchase Tracking history but will not count towards your Quarterly Reward.

Yes. When you change the business phone number associated with your Pro Xtra Public Sector Account, your Pro Xtra ID will change. Log into your Pro Xtra Online Account and edit your account on the Preferences Tab. If you have employees that are using your Pro Xtra ID, you will also need to update them with your new Pro Xtra ID.

There are three ways your employees can help you earn towards the Quarterly Reward. They can:
- Key in your business phone number during in-store checkout
- Scan your digital Pro Xtra ID from their mobile device
- Pay using The Home Depot Commercial Card that is linked to your Pro Xtra Public Sector Account
Or, if they forget to use your Pro Xtra ID in-store, they will need to send you their receipt. Then you can use the “Add a Receipt” function on your Online Account before the end of the current Quarter to earn towards the Quarterly Rebate.

Quarterly Rebates

Quarterly Rebates let Pro Xtra Public Sector Members earn rebates on their Qualifying Purchases and Qualifying Paint Purchases, any way they pay: with cash, debit, credit, gift card, or cheque when Members use their Pro Xtra ID. The more you spend, the more you’ll earn towards your Quarterly Rebate. Each quarter, the Quarterly Rebate you earn will be mailed to you in the form of a cheque.

You earn Quarterly Rebates any way you pay on Qualifying Purchases and Qualifying Paint Purchases when you shop with use your Pro Xtra ID in The Home Depot Canada stores and when you’re logged into your Online Account on homedepot.ca.

Quarterly Rebates are sent to you in the mail four times a year, following the end of the quarter. Please expect to receive the cheque in the mail 60-90 days after the end of the Qualifying Quarter. Quarterly Rebates are issued in the form of a cheque and will be mailed to the address you indicated when registering to the Pro Xtra Public Sector Program. Quarters are outlined below:

Your Tier Level is based on Qualifying Purchases you make with your Pro Xtra ID in the last 12-months. That means that if you maintain your spend level, you won’t lose your Tier Level on your anniversary date.

Your Tier Level is based on all your Qualifying Purchases associated with your Pro Xtra ID over the last 12 months - which means the more you spend, the more you’ll earn! You’ll automatically earn Quarterly Rebates, any way you pay, as follows:

Your Tier Level does not apply to Qualifying Paint Purchases. You can earn Quarterly Rebate based on Qualifying Paint Purchases you make, any way you pay, with your Pro Xtra ID as follows:

If you make a Purchase on homedepot.ca while you are logged in to your Online Account, you will earn towards your Quarterly Rebate. If you are not logged in to your account, your purchase will not be tracked and your purchase will not qualify for Quarterly Rebates.

Yes. When you shop in store at The Home Depot or online at homedepot.ca, you can earn towards your Quarterly Reward any way you pay: with cash, debit, credit, gift card, and cheque, when you use your Pro Xtra ID. The Home Depot website does not accept Home Depot Gift Cards as a payment type at this time.

Yes, so long as they use your Pro Xtra ID, (which includes The Home Depot Commercial Card linked to your Pro Xtra Public Sector Account) when shopping. You can also use the ‘Add a Receipt’ function on your Online Account before the end of the current quarter if they forget to use your Pro Xtra ID.

If you have not received your rebate cheque within 90 days of the end of the quarterly period in which it was earned, please contact the Pro Xtra Customer Service Centre at 1-800-759-2070 and an Agent will be happy to assist you. The Pro Xtra Customer Service Centre is open 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. ET, Monday through Friday, and 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. ET on Saturdays.
Purchase Tracking

Purchase tracking is a member-exclusive benefit that allows you to track, sort and export your purchases made with your Pro Xtra ID. When you sign up to Pro Xtra Public Sector, you will automatically get access the purchase tracking benefit. Purchases can be tracked starting the day your account is created.

To use the Purchase Tracking benefit, key in or scan your Pro Xtra ID, every time you make a purchase in-store. To make a purchase online, log in to your Pro Xtra account before you check out. Both in-store and online purchases will automatically be tracked online in your Online Account.

To access Purchase Tracking, log into your Online Account and click on the purchase tracking tab.

Pro Xtra Members can track their purchases for up to 2 years from the date of purchase. Only purchases made after signing up to Pro Xtra Public Sector will be tracked.

Yes. The total amount shown in Purchase Tracking is inclusive of taxes. You can find this amount under “Total Spend” on your purchase tracking page. You can also view your detailed receipts by clicking on the View Details icon and exporting your Purchase Details Data.

Yes! Existing Pro Xtra Public Sector Members with a Home Depot commercial card already have the Purchase Tracking benefit. Their purchases are tracked every time they shop with their Home Depot commercial card.

All Members can now track purchases, any way they pay: with cash, debit, credit, gift card, or cheque when they use their new Pro Xtra ID.

It will take up to 48 hours to reflect any returns or exchanges in your purchase tracking details.
