What does it indicate when the torch snuffs out during usage?

cylinder is held horizontal, with nozzle at a downwards angle from the cylinder. Flame sputters slightly, "puffs" and goes out. Is this just improper usage of the torch, or does this indicate some defect? Torch is new bought from home depot
    Asked by: Anonymous
This torch cannot be inverted because it is not pressure regulated. You will need to get a pressure regulated torch or purchase an extension hose for this torch so you can use it at different angles.

Could you use this to burn weeds that are in between sidewalk slabs or bricks?

    Asked by: Anonymous
Yes you can use it to burn them but I would not recommend burning the weeds because there might be a slight chance that dried up grass around the area which can catch on fire. What I would recommend for weeds growing in the area is the product in the picture.
