Yes. With our New Waterline Installation, Home Depot installers can hook up your new refrigerator in a new location.

In most cases, your new waterline installation can be completed in 2 -3 hours.

Yes, our New Waterline Installation includes the connection of your new refrigerator to a new waterline, if you don’t already have one.

All required parts are included in the cost of your New Waterline Installation service. 

• Our Installers will not make any modifications to existing structures, countertops or cabinetry to accommodate your new waterline. 
• Installation does not include a shut off valve for your new waterline.
• Haul away and disposal of your old refrigerator are not included unless purchased separately. 
• Mileage expenses may apply if your installation requires over 50 km travel from the store.  

Your New Waterline Installation will include:

• Installation of the new waterline and hook up to the refrigerator, connecting it to electrical and plumbing outlets; testing to verify the new refrigerator is properly grounded; and testing to ensure the new unit is in proper working order. 
• 1-year labour warranty  

Yes. If you would like your old refrigerator to be hauled away, the service can be purchased prior to checkout.  

No. Delivery and installation services are arranged and scheduled separately from each other. If haul away is purchased with delivery, your old refrigerator will be taken away or moved when the new one is delivered.

The installer will contact you via text message within 24 hours of completing your order to schedule your over-the-range microwave installation. Please take your delivery time into account when scheduling your installation appointment. 

If the appliance arrives with visible damage, ask the delivery agent about the Save the Delivery process. Once explained if this is not something that is acceptable to you, we recommend that you refuse the delivery and indicate ‘refused due to damage’ on the bill of lading (BOL). Otherwise, you have up to 48 hours from time of delivery to notify The Home Depot at 1-800-759-2054 of any concealed damage.

If you notice a defect (not damage) in the appliance after the 48 hours, this becomes a warranty issue. Please call the manufacturer’s warranty line. This is not the responsibility of the installer.
